Holiday Card Series Day 16 - Sea-sons Greetings! | Underwater Scene Card ft. Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am back with my final day - Day 16 of my 2020 Holiday Card Series! For my last holiday card for this year wanted to use the adorable Christmas Fishes stamp set by Lawn Fawn!

If you would like to see how I made this frame just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks (see color map below for the exact colors) and I also used a Sun Ray stencil and white pigment ink to add more interest. I die cut a hill panel and ink blended that as well and also added lots of splatters.

I attached the background and the hill to a red card base. Then I added all my images with liquid glue and foam squares. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a copic colored sentiment strip and added it to the card.

Finally, to embellish the card I added shimmer pen, Crystal Glaze and Stickles.

This concludes my holiday card series for this year. I had a lot of fun creating all of these cards. I hope to share lots more next year!

Thank you for stopping by and have a very merry Christmas if you celebrate and if not have a wonderful rest of the year. All the best, lots of happiness and, most importantly, health for 2021!!

Holiday Card Series Day 15 - Winter Village | Interactive Box Card ft. Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am back with Day 15 of my 2020 Holiday Card Series! This time I have an new #ChallengeACraftyFriend card to share with you! The theme for this one was "Christmas Fun Box Card" so this is what I came up with.

If you would like to see how I made this frame just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I die cut the main box panel from the Scalloped Box Card die twice out of red cardstock, 4 hill pieces, two background pieces - one out of red and one out of white cardstock and one forest border. I ink blended the white background, the hills and the forest border (see color map for the exact colors).

I cut off the flaps of the main box pieces and assembled it with the hills. I attached the background piece on the inside and added the red back piece with liquid glue to make the outside look seemless. I die cut the Scripty Merry die twice - one out of red and one out of silver glitter cardstock and layered them. I stamped the word "Christmas" in red onto a stitched decorative panel out of white cardstock and adhered it to the front of the box.

After that I attached all the images using liquid glue. Finally, to embellish the card I added shimmer pen and Stickles . I really hope you like this one!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

I attached the first set of cubed to the back of the inside panel and the bottom. Then I added my first row of clouds on top and repeated the process for my second set of clouds. After That I added my hills to the front of the card and all my images to both the inside and outside.

Holiday Card Series Day 12 - Merry Mice | Holiday Scene Card ft. Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am back with Day 12 of my 2020 Holiday Card Series! Today I created another Family Mice Adventure card! This time these adorable mice are gearing up for christmas by wrapping gifts and decorating the tree!

If you would like to see how I made this frame just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I cut down two panels of light pink cardstock. One measuring 8 x 5 1/2" - scored at 4 1/4" the other measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" - scored at 1/2, 4 1/4 and 4 3/4". I used a rectangle die to cut a window next to the 1/2 flap. I ink blended directly onto the colored cardstock on the front of the card and the inside of the shadow box (see color map below or video above). I also die cut the Sky Bursters die by Mama Elephant and used the leftover oval as a hill for both the inside and card front. I also die cut a little branch to go on the inside of my card.

I added all my images on the inside using liquid glue and then assembled my inside shadow box (see video for more details). I adhered the hill and frame using liquid glue and added the image and sentiment strip using foam squares.

Finally, to embellish the card I added shimmer pen, Stickles and Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I really hope you enjoyed this one!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Holiday Card Series Day 5 - Christmas Market | Light Up Frame ft. Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty Friends!

Today I am back for Day 5 of my Holiday Card Series! This time I made a bit of a different project. It was my sisters birthday yesterday and she absolutely loves Christmas Markets. Unfortunately due to Covid all the markets this year have been cancelled and she was super sad about it. So I thought as an extra little gift for her birthday I would try and make a little Christmas market for her!

If you would like to see how I made this frame just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I ink blended the background using Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Ink. I added lots of splatters of white and gold paint as well as Liquid Stardust to give the effect of snow. I also added a little bit of Tumbled Glass on stamped hills.

I created cubes out of cardstock to act as spacers for my frame layers. I attached all my images to the two layers and used the cubes to space them out. Then I adhered the background to the second hill using the cubes as well. I then glued everything onto a strip of cardstock cut down to fit inside the frame and act as a base. I added white paint, shimmer pen and Stickles for added shine.

I attached the star LED light string to the top of the frame using regular tape. I added glitter to the inside of the frame and then added in my insert. I used hot glue to attach the back of the frame and used a strip of tape to attach the battery pack to the back of the frame.

I also added a little label to the top of the box to personalize it. I really hope you enjoyed this card. I had a so much fun making it!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
